Celebrating 40 Years of Local Commitment to the Community

Over the past four decades, our family-owned business has woven itself into the fabric of the West Midlands and we strive to be a cornerstone of community commitment. Established over 40 years ago, we take pride in being deeply rooted in the region with home visits available throughout Birmingham, Worcestershire, Warwickshire and beyond.

Our journey is a testament to the people who make The Window Centre what it is today – our dedicated employees, cherished partners and customers, and the thriving local community. We are proud to be a family-run business with many long-standing employees and returning customers. As we have completed our 40 years in business, we start 2024 full of optimism towards a busy year ahead.

From humble beginnings, our commitment to the community has been a priority. We believe in more than just providing quality windows, doors, conservatories, orangeries, garden rooms (and more); we believe in enriching lives and building lasting relationships with the local community.

In every project we undertake, our community is at the forefront. Whether it’s sponsoring local events, supporting community initiatives, or simply being a reliable neighbour, The Window Centre is committed to making a positive impact.

Managing Director, Mike Adderley said:

It’s hard to believe this journey started over forty years ago. The original showroom faced what was then Foster Brothers menswear and Lucas Industries. Most of our client base came from these two establishments and recommendations from these clients were a massive part of our growth. I have seen the local area change over the years from redevelopment, but many of the businesses are still serving the community today as they were then. We are so grateful for the local support and believe we have in turn, supported local events, clubs and associations alike.

I’m reminded that success is measured in the lasting impact we’ve had on homes, businesses, and the community. The journey has been a testament to resilience, innovation, and the endurance  of a committed team. A huge thank you to all the staff both past and present for their hard work, commitment, and adaptability.

Whilst the new showroom boasts a massive range of products, we have so much more to bring to the table. The ever-changing regulations bring new and exciting products to further better insulation and design.

I look forward to seeing what 2024  brings and where our fifth decade takes us.”

As we reflect on our 40-year journey, we invite you to share in the celebration of community, family, and commitment. The Window Centre isn’t just a name; it’s a promise to our community – a promise to continue serving, supporting, and enhancing the lives and homes of those around us.

We are always pleased to welcome visitors to our showroom and Conservatory Village in Shirley, as well as our showroom in Sutton Coldfield, to connect and support with home improvements.
